Hello everyone,
Hope that you are all having a relaxing Sunday! - I've spent most of mine doing homework :( Anyway, last Saturday my family went to London for the day. We were originally going for my 14th Birthday (in January) but some things came up so we couldn't. So, we went on the 29th April instead! I thought I'd tell you all about what we did and where we went, to give you some inspiration of some things you can do there if you're planning a trip to London any time soon.
We caught the train at about 8:30am from my local station and arrived at London Euston at around 10:00am. We then caught the tube to the South Kensington Station and went to the National History Museum for a couple of hours! South Kensington is so beautiful, I dream of living there some day! We ate our lunch at the Museum too.
We then hopped back onto the tube to Sloane Square Station, and then walked to the Peggy Porschen cake shop! It took about 10 ish minutes to get there from the station, but it was 100% worth it! The walk there was stunning, but not as beautiful as the cake shop itself! I can see why it's so popular! We sat outside and I ate a strawberry champagne cupcake, and drank a vanilla latte! - so delicious :)
After feeling stuffed with cake, we walked back to the tube station and went to the Oxford Circus station. We wandered down oxford street and regents street and got swallowed by the hustle and bustle of London, it was soooo busy! We went into Jack Wills, Topshop, Urban Outfitters, Selfridges and my sister wanted a shirt for her 18th birthday from Ralph Lauren! It was so beautiful in there! ;)
We then got the tube back to Euston and went home! ;(
My next post will be an April Haul, and I will show you what I bought in London there! Speak to you soon, love Georgia xoxo
